Poolside Beaconsfield is a multi-award-winning, family-owned business and we are looking for a full-time retail person that can take a leadership role to join our team of 7. The successful person requires a strong customer service background and enjoys getting to know our large customer base as well as learning everything about pools and Spas.

Apart from having superstar retail / leadership skills, your role will also include the following:

· Water testing and analysis
· Greeting and serving customers
· Phone enquiries
· Problem solving by listening to our customers
· Selling and upselling pool/spa chemicals and equipment
· Managing bookings for our pool technicians
· Quoting
· General cleaning,
· Ordering product / parts
· Ability to lift up to 20kgs
· Full training on all the above will be supplied.

The successful candidate will also be able to demonstrate the following:

· Previous experience in retail background
· Available to work weekends,
· Good communication skills with customers and work colleagues
· Reliable and Punctual
· Self-motivated and organised
· Ability to work well in a team environment and autonomously
· Willing to learn the pool and spa industry
· Trustworthy and energetic
· Computer savvy
· Great multi tasker
· Good work ethic with a can-do attitude

Pool Service Technician

We are a fast growing business looking for an intelligent, self-motivated, customer focused, friendly and outgoing person to join our team in the role of Service/Pool Technician.

Above award wages as well as a very attractive bonus system.

Service/Pool Technician

For the right candidate this role will involve a combination of on-site service and technical tasks through to assistance in the sales of the retail shop. This role is predominantly based outdoors and highly autonomous, it's perfect for candidates of all ages who are fit and healthy with a can-do attitude and are willing to learn!

The position will require you to;

perform the general cleaning and maintenance of swimming pool & spas and equipment.
install new pool equipment & perform general repairs.
ideally possess water analysis knowledge, interpretation and implementation.
have a good knowledge and understanding of pool & spa chemicals, their safe use and storage.
apply correct water treatment processes with the desired outcome in the most efficient manner.
have open and honest communication skills that are effective and required to establish and maintain relationships with clients and colleagues.
be required to be a quick learner in the use of our computer applications.
perform occasional retail sales and services as required.

Above award wages apply & all required training will be provided.

As your experience and competency improves so will the salary options. Further development of skills will see you trained for installations and equipment repairs.

Inclusions:

Training:

We will train you in water chemistry, pool & spa maintenance, equipment & products as well as problem diagnosis and appropriate solutions to solve issues.

Two main areas of work required is to service swimming pools by means of cleaning and analysis of any faults that may appear as well as in-store retail, where you will conduct water analysis, attend to customer questions and product sales.

Ideal Experience:

Previous pool/spa servicing is preferred, but not essential
Retail / customer service

Ideal Candidate qualities:

Good work ethic, fast learner & computer literate. You will have an open manual drivers license, and available to work occasional weekends. You consider yourself to be fit, healthy & ready for manual work, trustworthy & energetic.

Summer Season Casual Wanted
